Founder of Unbroken

I'm Ziggy. I built Unbroken — a 75-day pact tracker where your squad runs the same days beside you and a miss sends you back to Day 1 — and I run everything published on this site: 26 guides across 6 topics, plus the 20 tools on this site.

I'm not a doctor, a dietitian or a coach, and I don't pretend to be. I'm a developer who had to read the actual guidance to build a challenge tracker that does not lie to people — how much water is a lot, what a rest day costs a streak, how long a habit really takes to stick. Most of what I found online was either a rulebook with no evidence or a study summary with no rules. So I write the version I wanted: plain language, with the sources linked so you can check me.

Drafts are produced with AI assistance and then read, cut and corrected by me before anything goes up. Health claims point at a primary source — MedlinePlus and the National Library of Medicine, Cleveland Clinic, the World Health Organization, or peer-reviewed literature — and every guide lists what it drew on at the bottom of the page. It also means nothing here is medically reviewed, because there is no clinician on staff to review it. I'd rather say that plainly than imply a credential I don't have.

How I work

  • Primary sources first. Health claims come from public-health bodies and peer-reviewed research, not from other blogs.
  • Sources on the page. Guides list what they cite, with outbound links, so you can read the original.
  • No diagnosis, no training plans. These are guides to a challenge. Anything involving an injury, an illness or a medication belongs with a clinician.
  • No borrowed authority. Other programs are named to describe them, never to imply they endorse this one.
  • Corrections welcome. If something here is wrong or out of date, tell me and I'll fix it and note the update date.

The full detail is in the editorial policy.

What Unbroken is

Unbroken is a 75-day challenge tracker built on pacts and squads. You write the pact, everyone in your squad takes the same five tasks to the same midnight, and missing one sends your run back to Day 1 — but the days you banked stay in the Record forever. Run it alone, with a partner, or with a crew.
